Leighton Meester’s mom wearing Belstaff Jacket, is firing back after her daughter sued her last week — claiming in a new countersuit, Leighton threw her to the ground back in December … “repeatedly hitting her with a bottle.”
Leighton Marissa Meester is an American actress and singer. Meester gained fame for playing the role of Blair Waldorf in the CW young-adult television series Gossip Girl. She most recently appeared in the 2011 thriller The Roommate, and the 2011 romantic-comedy Monte Carlo.
On July 22, 2011, Meester wearing Belstaff Leather Jacket filed a lawsuit against her mother, claiming that her mother had diverted money that Meester had sent her mother for the care of Meester’s young brother, to her mother’s personal use. The suit claims the mother, Constance Meester, used the money ($7,500 a month) for cosmetic procedures and other personal expenses. In a written response filed with the court, Meester’s mother filed a counter-claim against Meester alledging, among other things, that “Leighton intentionally assaulted Constance by throwing her to the ground and repeatedly hitting her with a bottle.”
Constance Meester wearing Belstaff Women Leather Jacket says it’s true … Leighton sent her $7,500 every month, but that was not out of the goodness of her heart. It was — Constance claims — a settlement for all the money she helped make for her daughter. But no trial date has been set yet.
