Harry Shum Jr.’s character on “Glee” may be a member of the glee club but that doesn’t mean he’s gotten the chance to sing. He has one hundred percent of Chinese descent. This handsome Chinese man who fight for his future in Hollywood becomes a fresh new boy with great vigor and personality on Dsquared Clothes.
There’s a running joke on the show that his character, Mike Chang, is tone-deaf and his dancing ability makes him valuable to the New Directions show choir. He said by putting on his simple T-shirt in an interview: “Yeah, It’s really fun, I like dancing as well as Dsquared Jeans not singing. Even dance in the “Glee”, I wore Dsquared Shoes because they’re fashion and comfortable. ”
In real life, Shum says he’s been taking vocal lessons and hopes to get a shot at singing on the show.”I’m not the best singer but I’m definitely not the worst. I’m somewhere in between but I’ll let the audience gauge on how good that is and hopefully the show allows me to sing a real song,” says Shum with his vigorous Dsquared Polo Shirt. He is a member of ACDC hip-hop group. So he always dance with his members by putting on his wild Dsquared Cap to show their hip-hop style.
The character of Mike Chang was introduced in season one with very little dialogue. Shum who wears Dsquared T Shirt describes him as starting off as a background character who would dance and make facial expressions. He’s slowly gotten more screen time and was recently upgraded from recurring to a regular cast member. Shum who wears polo shirt says in the studio. “I think we’ll find out very, very soon but I think the main focus, instead of what’s happening on season four, should be season three,” says Shum.
