In a traditional art-based ballet, there is a forward-thinking, creative director Alexei Ratmansky, he has traveled all over Western Europe, Australia and North America, created for the different groups in different countries. The 41-year-old man with wisdom, conquered the critics, audiences and actors.
On Match 26th 2011, Canada’s Toronto National Batuan showed and one of the plays was Russian Seasons, the choreography is Alexei Ratmansky. The people who looked at this program just came for Alexei Ratmansky. But if you went to see, you had to admire hia talent.
He said he always wanted to challenge, always wanted to compile different plays from the traditional ballet. Not everything Ratmansky touches turns to gold — his “Anna Karenina” was also on display during the Mariinsky run at the Metropolitan Opera House that ended Saturday night. It was a pretty dull if well-intentioned affair, plagued by a mostly plodding score. The Mariinsky doesn’t get to New York that often — their last appearance was at City Center in 2008, and that was after a six-year absence. Judging from the rapturous reception at the opera house last week, New Yorkers would like them back sooner next time.
I think anyone who enjoys the ballet hopes Alexei Ratmansky can compile more ballets that are novel and pretty. Just like what he said he is bold and avant-garde .We expect he will keep the relationship with the Dsquared Shoes.
